Is it ever funny to just sit and think about things in your life. Like, who you went to see the movie Titanic with for the first time, or the first person you ever ate sushi with, or the person who taught you what an MP3 is, or who made you memorize all of the lyrics to “A Whole New World”, or your first love-and what felt to possibly be your last?
I’m just having one of those moments where I am sitting here thinking of all these things. Thinking of my past. The moments I will remember forever. The moments that I may regret forever. The moments that will never be forgotten and the moments that I wish I had forgotten. The moments that will be a marker in history.
Most of these moments I do not regret because even in these moments, whether they lasted for a minute, a month, or years, were moments that deserve to be remembered. Because in each of these moments, I learned something. In each of these moments I got a hint to the secrets of life. Whether they be hold on to things-you never know when your last time to see them will be; or, think things through before you actually proceed with them-some things can never be forgotten. Always remember to tell the person that you love that indeed, you do love them, make sure they know it. Even if they don’t love you back.
These aren’t the answers to the great mysteries in life, but they are the answers that I wish I had in my past. The answers that I pray I will hold on to for my future.
