**IM AWAKE IM ALIVE**
So, I will be the first to admit that I have some awesome friends! My birthday was on the 20th and Jessica found out that my all time favorite band would be in Houston for my birthday weekend....so of course we had to go.
Well, guess what SHE SCORED US SOME VIP TICKETS AND A MEET AND GREET WITH SKILLET!---TOLD YOU I HAD AWESOME FRIENDS! I mean, great friends....yes....but friends who share the same taste in music as you, even better. Their opening bands were Letter Black and Decyfer Down [some freakin awesome bands BTW check them out if you've never heard of them]. Hawk Nelson was there too but ehh.....we kinda left during their set. ;)
But we were able to meet Skillet, Decyfer Down, and The Letter Black. SAWEEEET! Enjoy some sweet videos HERE of such from an amazing concert.

GIVING IS AWESOME!
Photographers around the world were challenged by the wonderfully thoughtful (and I must say, the wittiest chicki ever) Kristen Kalp of Essential Imagery to give the gift of custom photography to someone who may be very deserving but unable to afford so.
I am very happy and excited to step up to the challenge! I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with and capture love, laughter and memories that will be treasured for so many and I would love to give that same treasured memory to someone deserving.
You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty. You know someone. I guarantee it. I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography. I’ll be giving away a complimentary session and the high resolution digital negatives, a $250 VALUE!
All I need is a deserving person who would cherish captured memories of their family. You have the opportunity to make this a special Christmas gift for a special person.
The Rules:
You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two million dollar vacation home in London does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
The nominee must reside in the Houston area. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include your email and or phone with your nomination as well as the best way to get in contact with your nominee. All nominations must be received by midnight, December 15nd, and the gift recipient will be announced on the blog before Christmas Eve.

KORBEN THOMAS BENARD | BABY
I got to experience Korben just 2 hours after he was born. 7 pounds 5 ounces 19 inches.....What a precious family that I am so happy to call friends! I love the two little boys they already have so Korben will be a great little brother for Ethen and Braeden! So happy that mommy made it through ok too! Love you guys!
