Welp, it came and went like a whirlwind. I blazed home after work on the last flight of the 23rd and flew back at 6am on the 26th. It is always a blessing to be with my family at Christmas time though. Who can complain with kids as great as these?

It was weird not having my great grandmother for Christmas this year. After 101 Christmases, she is missed. We all thought so.

but with the passing of old life comes new life. we now have 6 great grandkids in the family.

NEXT YEAR WE WILL HAVE 8!

My parents dog, Sissy was 15 and died the day after Christmas last year from cancer. This was our christmas present to them. My dad loved him! He carried him everywhere and made all these rules about how he was going to be raised. Of course, my mom just let him go. She'll get her turn too!

His name is Bear [as in Bear Bryant, duh-my mom is the biggest Alabama fan of all time]. He has a brother too. That was one of the boy's presents from Santa. He is yet to be named, I think the choices are Toby and Gizmo....but either way they are ADORABLE!

Waylon has been a friend of mine since before I moved here.  He asked me to do a shoot of him and his siblings for their mom for christmas.    THEY ARE AN AMAZING FAMILY!
