This morning on my way to school I saw a kid totally miss a green light because he was too busy sending a text message. an older guy behind him pulled out then pulled back in front of him, got out of his car, walked to the younger guys car, then proceeded to straight up bite his head off. Poor kid. "its the world we live in right?" Its weird how God puts things in your path. This subject has been weighing on my heart for about a week now. i find myself saying this phrase a lot trying to hide behind the trueness of this universe. it is the world we live in. where materials just cant seem to be enough. you have a 30 gig ipod, you want a 60 gig, and so on. you have all the things that there are, yet you want more. granted, its ok to have most things. as long as they don't turn you against God, as long as they don't become idols in your life, what's wrong with them, right? But when is enough, enough?
I saw the simplicity of life today as I took a few pictures of Melissa and Ethen. I noticed how sweet the world can be.
